Cherishing our age-old hand block printing practices
What is the first characteristic we look for while selecting a dress? Some may say it’s the design but deep down we all know it’s the fabric. As soon as we are interested in a dress, we touch it to feel the fabric, to ensure that the fabric is soft & soothing for the skin, that it will give us comfort. We would never choose a piece of clothing that is harsh on our skin no matter how stylish it may look.
The new era
While our parents still look for comfort in a fabric, our generation is more drawn towards style & glamour. We at Chapai are supporters of the former notion, comfort before glamour, which is evident from the types of collection we have. All our products are categorized into different collections based on the material of fabric they are made of. Every material is hand weaved topped with hand block paintings to enhance the look. Every collection portrays a different type of print which has its own story. The colors are inspired by nature to give a soothing effect to your wardrobe.
